Smart-Fi is a free Android app developed by Mobolize in the Utilities & Tools category. It aims to ensure a seamless and fast internet connection by intelligently switching between Wi-Fi and cellular networks. The app utilizes their patented SmartVPN® technology, which automatically runs whenever you connect to a Wi-Fi network.

The app offers two key features. Firstly, Wi-Fi Bonding leverages both Wi-Fi and cellular data networks to provide the best possible data connection. It eliminates Wi-Fi dead zones and unclogs congested Wi-Fi by load-balancing Wi-Fi and cellular, ensuring seamless transitions when switching between networks. Secondly, Wi-Fi Security automatically encrypts unsecured content and protects your data privacy when using Wi-Fi, without interfering with VPN sensitive apps like streaming video services.

Smart-Fi displays a KEY icon in the status bar when any of its features are active. It also provides occasional notifications when the status changes or when you connect and disconnect from Wi-Fi. If you encounter any issues, you can report them through the app's menu.

Please note that the app may appear to use a significant amount of data and battery usage on your phone. However, this is because the app manages your security and connectivity, and the data and battery usage from other apps is now redirected to Smart-Fi. The actual battery usage is minimal, averaging around 0.1%.
